Finally I've managed to finish Red Cappuccello!

As my first "fantasy" figure has been a joy to paint.

I hope you will enjoy the final result, I surely did enjoy painting it!

The lovely Red is done, as well as the groundwork (still fresh) and the wooden trolley.

Just the wolf has to be painted, but you can see some subtle color variation given with the airbrush.

I've made the blood drops with something quite unusual, tiny pieces of my fibre glass pen.

Then used the paint and some white glue to make the final drop like part.

I'm using so many new medium and techniques on this tiny gem, I love it, is a shame is almost finished!!!!

Today is a special day, I've reached the 100.000 hits therefore I'll go with 2 posts the same day.

I'm keep on painting the little Red Cappuccello, and I just can't stop it!

I've managed to finish the dress, hands, apron and I've started the knife and add the freckles!

I highly recommend this piece, get one from Maurizio !

Recently I've bought this gem from Maurizio Bruno, to celebrate is 200th scupture.

He took inspiration from Monge's drawing (see below)

The figure is something completely different from anything I've done in my life, has nothing to do with uniforms and research, just pure fun!

I've made a little change, to the sculpture, adding the hairs in front of her right eye, the original had an eye patch and 3 scars along the cheek (see below the image of the original casting from Maurizio)

Anyway is a pure joy to paint and to try something new, I've used the airbrush for the red hood, I like it, I may use it in the future!!!

At the moment the hood is 90% done, I just need to paint the little patch on the left hand side.

Face is still fresh so I may do some touch up once is dry.
